Jeremiah Longnecker - Head Coach
Jeremiah is a long-time teacher and coach at Cedar Falls. Prior to coaching golf, he was the Head Tennis Coach, Head Baseball Coach and a 30-year assistant football coach, at different times. He teaches in the social studies department at CFHS. He is an avid golfer who plays over 100 rounds of golf each year. During the summer if he isn't home, you are very likely to find him at Pheasant Ridge Golf Course.
Ryan Schultz - Assistant Coach
Ryan is also a long-time teacher and coach at Cedar Falls. He currently is the Head Men's Basketball Coach, a team that won back-to-back 4A Sate titles in 2018 and 2019. He oversees the CFCSD Alternative Program and has done so for the past 7 years. If he isn't in the gym running basketball clinics in the summer, you most likely will find him at Pheasant Ridge competing with Jeremiah. Ryan's organization and communication skills are unmatched. He will contribute heavily to players' understanding of the game, particularly from 50 yards in.
Mike Sawyer - Assistant Coach
Mike is immersed in the golf world just about every moment. An accomplished college and amateur player, he now is the VP of of Business Development for Club Procure (formerly VGM Golf). He remains one of the best amateur players in the Cedar Valley and isn't very happy if the score of his round begins with anything but a "6". His interest in the 2021 golf team is particularly high, given the fact his son Owen will be in his 3rd year of competing as a varsity player. Mike's strategic analysis of the golf course will prove invaluable each day on the course.
